Industry sources reported May 9 that Thailand's SCG Chemicals had halted talks to supply petrochemicals following a fire in its pyrolysis gas (pygas). Sources said that the pygas tanks exploded at Map Ta Phut Terminal Co. Ltd. early on May 9. Several people were injured.
