Homopolymer polypropylene higher on theweek to June 26, while copolymer grade remained flat amidlow trading activity reported at the end of June and bullishexpectations for July from market participants.According to a Chile-based supplier, they have been ableto work at $1,300/mt levels due to delays in Asia shipments.However, most homopolymer spot trading levels are closerto $1,280/mt, despite some prices heard for Asian product at$1,240/mt.Currently, the supplier is offering homopolymer in Chile at$1,320/mt and they plan to maintain that price for July. The source stated that they were unable to increase prices because some customers received cheaper shipments. A South Korean supplier reduced their copolymer offerings from last week to $1280-$1,300/mt CIF WCSA. We would like to sell some volume with a discount because demand is low.
