US Spot PC Export Prices Hold Stable on Week / Participants have mixed opinions about export PVC prices / April exports drop on a month-to-month basis: ITC / May production and sales increase on the month: ACC

US PVC exports were steady in the week ending June 12, as market participants had mixed expectations about the trajectory of PVC prices. Although the majority of traders agreed that the prices were on the rise, there were some who refused to increase payments for US PVC. A source stated that "we will not pay more than $800/mt FAS Houston". The international markets aren't following as fast. The ITC published data on June7 that showed US PVC exports in April totaled 246,408mt, an increase of 9% over the previous year but a decrease of 7% for the month.
