US Recycled HPPE: Prices range-bound with stable

materialSources said that the US market for
recycled high-density plasticethylene was stable, with rangebound prices during
the week to March 22. Sources
said that prices have remained stable at 70 cents per lb due to seasonal
subdued production of natural color bales. This is unchanged from previous
weeks. Pricing for mixed-color bales has
varied slightly between players and others. Colored material is much less popular. Sources say that color bales are more expensive than natural
material, but they have more competition. This can lead to greater price
volatility. Nova Chemicals, Canada's
largest chemical company, plans to invest between $2 billion and $4 billion in
sustainable products by 2030....
