The South Asian acrylonitrile market was stable in the week to Oct. 27, with firmer adjacent Asian markets providing support despite lower indications heard in the regional market. ACN CFR South Asia at $1,560/metric ton Oct. 27, stable week over week, amid a firmer adjacent market. A selling indication was heard from a buyer at $1,535/mt CFR South Asia for November delivery. However, the indication could not be corroborated with the wider market and was not considered in the assessment. Separately, a tradable indication was also heard between $1,525-$1,550/mt CFR South Asia for December-arrival cargoes. Meanwhile, adjacent Asian markets strengthened during the week.
