The US polycarbonate market remained stable through the week ended July 2. extrusion grade and injection grade polycarbonate at 90 cents/lb and 95 cents/lb ($1,984/mt and $2,094/mt), respectively, July 3, steady on the week. Saudi Arabia's SABIC, one of two major US polycarbonate producers, is resuming "limited operations" at its Tampico polycarbonate plant in Mexico after being shut down June 10 following a drought.
