Spot export of caustic soda is $490-510/dmt
on June 13th, stable for the week pending new activity. US export prices remained stable for the week,
to be assessed as $490-505/dmt F.O.B. USG. They had fallen $50 in the previous
week due to weak demand. This week demand was flat, with
limited pricing indicators and activity reported. One source
reported that buying interest was low, and traders were "hesitant" to
open positions. The pricing in Europe remained stable at $370-390/dmt
for the week. Market participants in local markets expressed
pessimism due to weak fundamentals and low demand. Caustic soda
prices in Asia fell on the week due to a lackluster demand. CFR
