Prices for low density polyethylene-butene exports rose by $22/mt from the previous day to the week prior on July 3. Market participants are awaiting offers from July producers and clarity about possible extreme weather conditions in the next few days. Rail car prices were reported in the 45-47 cents/lb range for general-purpose resins with a melting index of around 2. Repeatability was concentrated towards the upper and middle end of this range.
