US Acrylonitrile : Exports remain steady despite falling
feedstock costs- Export, domestic prices unchanged from Feb. 28- The prices of polymer-grade propylene have dropped in
weekSpot export and domestic contract levels of
acrylonitrile in the USA held steady during the week ending March 21. However,
spot propylene feedstock levels continued to fall while ACN trading was sparse. No new price indications
for export were received during the period March 15-21. Spot exports were initially assessed at $1.430/mt on January
3, but fell to a low of $1.300/mt Jan. 24, and then stabilized at $1.430/mt by
February 28. Market feedback suggests that
propylene prices volatility is likely to slow down export shipments. spot March polymer-grade Propylene was at 56.50c/lb FDUSG on
