Trading cycle moves forward to the second half of July / Hanwha TotalEnergies is seeking naphtha to meet H2 July

As the trading cycle for half-months moved forward, trading began for second-half-July-delivery to north Asia on June 3. In mid-morning Asian trading on June 3, brokers lowered the July-August Mean Of Japan Naphtha Swap Time Spread to $6.25/mt, down 25 cents/mt compared to the previous close. Crude oil futures fell in the morning Asian trade of June 3, as some OPEC+ nations announced plans to phase out production reductions from October 2024 until September 2025. The group stated that Saudi Arabia and seven countries had made voluntary cuts of about 2.2 millions b/d, which were originally due to end in June.
