May 4 in line with the upstream naphtha, despite weaker crude futures. Market participants were
sidelined as they waited for fresh news or a clearer direction. A trader stated that gasoline crack was not very good. Another trader stated that the demand from Southeast Asia
was poor. Trading sources say that little
spot is available from South Korea and China. Prices are largely unchanged,
with fundamentals remaining stable. East
China prompt ex-tank supply was down at Yuan 7,180/mt. This is equivalent to
$897.75/mt based on import parity. Sources
