day at $1.019/mt FOB Korea, $1.041/mt CFR Unv1, up $3/mt to $1.006/mt CFR China
April 4, as crude oil strengthened further. Several traders expressed a bullish
outlook. At 0830 GMT,
June ICE Brent crude oil futures increased $1.31/b and were at $85.52/b. MX prices in the US rose 8 cents/gallon to $381/gallon FOB
US Gulf ($24.30/mt), in response to the sharply rising crude oil price and
Asian MX. A trader in Asian MX said that
he expected US MX prices at 400 cents per gallon ($1,214/mt" and that
octane boost inventory levels would "drop very quickly." China's domestic prices were not as high as the
