India Toluene: Firmer crude prices and FOB Korea prices support the CFR level / Ex-Kandla Toluene Indications Improve / ICE Nov Brent crude rises 91 cents/b in a single day

Crude oil prices remained firm in Asia on Sept. 13 while trading at CFR India remained low. CFR India's toluene differential to FOB Korea was unchanged at $83/mt, despite the thin trading activity. Toluene was up $8/mt for the day, at $729/mt at FOB Korea. CFR India assessed to be $812/mt. Both were up $8/mt. Later in the day, domestic indications showed some relief. Rupees 72/kg was discussed, which is up Rupees 2 or 3/kg for the day. Both sellers and buyers said that discussions for CFR import levels were limited and still held. Crude oil futures increased as the steady slowdown of China's economic growth reinforced expectations for a new round of stimulus by Beijing.
