India Toluene prices drop amid pressure on sellers / Local markets continue to be pressured by global weakness / ICE Brent crude front-month futures are up $1.05/b in one day

On the Indian toluene markets, sellers were under pressure on July 26 despite a rise in crude futures prices supporting FOB Korea. CFR India toluene differential was $94/mt - down $4/mt from the previous day - under an offer of $95/mt heard by a seller and buyer. The domestic discussions were more modest, with an offer of Rupees 80/kg heard from Kandla, and Rupees 81.5-83/kg or Rupees 85/kg offered by Mumbai. The inventory level was discussed as being 26,000 mt several days ago. Current levels were not able to be determined, but they are lower than recent highs.
