Asian Toluene prices stable despite rangebound crude futures / South Korea exports more than 21,000 mt of goods to the US in the first 20 days of February / Domestic ex tanks contracts actively traded lower

Toluene prices are unchanged from their previous closes of $810/mt F.O.B. Korea and $815/mt F.O.B. China on February 21. The Market on Close assessment did not include any transparent offers or bids. The marker will include 2,000 -3,000mt cargoes as well as merchantable cargoes in its assessment from Jan. 2. The prompt ex-tank east China supply was lower at Yuan 6,650/mt, or $802.06/mt based on import parity. Trading sources reported that the H2 February contract for ex-tank east China traded lower from Yuan 6650/mt to Yuan 6650/mt throughout the day. Sources said that the H2 March contract was traded at Yuan 6.690/mt. According to preliminary reports, South Korea exported around 46,419mt of toluene between Feb. 1-20, according market sources.
