Asian Toluene prices rise amid higher bid levels / FOB Korea markers up $21/mt in day / China's stock level is mixed before Golden Week on October 1

Asian toluene prices rose Sept. 27 amid higher bid levels. Toluene prices rose $21/mt in a single day to $751/mt FOM Korea, and $10/mt at $750/mt FOM China on September 27. Toluene FOB Korea was marked $1/mt higher than the last bid at $750/mt. This marker applied to any cargoes loading in November. During the MOC, no transparent offers or bids were heard. Industry sources reported that China's toluene inventories were mixed in both ports during the week ending September 27. Stocks in the east increased by 11,100 mt in a week, to 27,700mt, while in the south they decreased by 2,200 mt to 9,200mt in the same time period. The latest customs data revealed that Thailand exported approximately 20,801mt of toluene during August. Of this, 11,744mt went to India....
