Asian toluene prices rose March 23, due to stronger
upstream naphtha and higher adjacent markets. China also exported 27,460
mt February. This is an increase of 13,079 mt from January. Indonesia was next
at 5,703 and Indonesia followed at 5,703 and 5,915 mt, respectively. China's domestic demand continues to remain strong with
little spot market supply, sources have said. H2 April export tank
supplies were heard being traded at Yuan 7,040/mt. H2 March ex-tank supplies were heard being bid at Yuan
7,030/mt and then offered at Yuan 7,050/mt around 17:00 PM Singapore
time. Trade activity in India was also heard increasing. India ex-tank discussions rose to Rupees 80.5/kg at Kandla,
and Rupees 81.1/kg at Mumbai on March 23. Importers complained that the replacement cost was higher
at Rupees 85...
