India toluene prices hold steady amid low trade discussions / Asian market ends unchanged / ICE March Brent falls 50 cents/b

On Jan. 31, India toluene was stable from day to day, at $772/mt F.O.B. Korea and $872/mt C.F.R. India. India's domestic toluene price range remained unchanged at Rupees 75 - 76/kg ex Kandla and Rupees 76.5 - 76.50/kg ex Mumbai. According to a reliable source, inventory remained modest, but demand has stagnated at lower levels over the past few months. As the market awaited discussions in March, buyers did not seek material because of ample inventory and weak demands. Import discussions on the spot were few as many Asian markets were closed during Lunar New Year. CFR India toluene's cash differential at FOB Korea + $100/mt remained unchanged from day to day. Crude oil futures were lower due to US inventory buildups and uncertainty over potential US tariffs against Canada...
