Asian Toluene prices close mixed due to lack of direction / Domestic China market firms slightly /Export cargoes fall with lower crude futures

On October 25, Asian toluene was mixed, with no clear direction. FOB Korea's second-half laycan for November was $714/mt. This is $1/mt less than an offer of $715/mt. The intraday assessment of both the first-half and the second-half laycans for December was $734/mt. The last offer, $735/mt per any December loading, was made at the same level. A $728/mt offer for 2,000 mt of loading in either H1 or H2 December was heard, but was not taken into consideration as it was considered a restrictive offer. Sources said that the Chinese market was cautious and lacked direction. Trading was slow.
