The Asian toluene price ranged from stable
to lower on June 20, amid mixed market indicators and thin spot trade. FOB Korea's marker remained at $835/mt despite a
rangebound crude oil session and a mixed upstream-downstream price movement. In the
Market on Close process, there were no transparent offers or bids. Industry
sources reported that several more offers of China origin were heard on the
market. Sources said that indicative offers ranged
between $870 and $880/mt, or FOB Korea plus $20/mt. There were
no trades heard. Sources said that two 1,000-mt Korea-origin lots
were sold for around FOB Korea plus less than $10-15/mt, and would be loaded in
the first half of June and second half of June. Sources
