remained steady at $950/mt CFR Northeast Asia on March 29 and $970/mt CFR
Southeast Asia on March 29. Sources
said that market participants are waiting and watching to see if the buy-sell
gap narrows. As the supply of ethylene
remains tight in the region, selling activity has remained steady. However, buyers sentiments are still weak due to the
persistent weakness in downstream markets like styrene monomer. "Downstream markets are doing very poorly as of late. "Poor demand has really affected me margins, so I will
