21. Several buyers said they had enough ethylene for July. Market was downbeat, as several sources pointed
out that there were plenty of supplies because turnaround season had finished
and steam crackers had returned to service in Asia a week earlier. The Dragon
Boat Festival in China, as well as Unv1 and other public holidays, was also
expected to limit discussions for the remainder of the week. The
benchmark C+F Japan Naphtha was down $4.75/mt for the day, to $531.375/mt at
the Asian close on June 21. The ethylene/naphtha differential
was calculated at 183.625/mt. This is below the usual spreads of $250/mt or
