US benzene dropped by 5 cents/gal on June
13 across the board. One participant described the current market conditions as
"really slow and weak." DDP
and FOB are at the same price of 304 cents/gal in June. DDP for July fell to 294c/gal (880mt). Downstream July FOB Styrene is $915/mt - $84 less than the
previous day. Recent market participants
reported that spot availability will be tight until July. On June 13, a producer confirmed that the supply was tight. Styrene prices in Europe rose on the same day. On paper, the arbitrage between the US Gulf Coast and Europe
