India Styrene monomer: Prices rise amid tighter supply / Prices in Southeast Asia are firming up / Sources : Demand in India remains low

CFR China's premium was $1/mt higher than the previous week, at CFR China plus $13/mt. Sources indicate that supply is slightly tighter than last week. The levels corroborated were CFR China plus $14-$20/mt. The CFR China mark was down $12/mt compared to the last assessment of $1,085/mt. This reflects the changes in the Chinese domestic markets. CFR Southeast Asia was assessed at $1,120/mt up from the last assessment of $12/mt. This maintained a premium to CFR China of $35/mt. In India, the domestic discussion was heard around Rupees 100/kg ex Kandla port. This is slightly higher than Rupees 95/kg last Friday. According to sources, the styrene market is experiencing a tightening of supply. However, demand remains weak. One trader reported that there were fewer cargoes and some delays in deliveries....
