India Styrene monomer: Prices rise amid increased discussions / Kandla Offer Levels Around Rupees 97 - 98/kg / Contract Negotiations at CFR China Plus $30-$35/mt

In the week leading up to December 20, both term contract and spot negotiations were increasing. Some traders said the spot market was profitable for them, at the current CFR China plus $30/mt. Sources said that February bids and offers were higher than January levels, indicating an upward trend in the coming days. In January, the offer levels for January were around $35-$38/mt while buying ideas were set at $25/mt. The majority of CFR India indications also remained in the same range as CFR China plus 25-$35/mt. CFR India SM increased $2.50/mt in the past week to $1,067.50/mt December 20, increasing the premium over CFR China by $10/mt. CFR China plus 30/mt.
