CFR China styrene monomer and FOB Koreamarkers May 24 at $1,168.50/mt and $1,158.50/mt, both up $6.50/mt from the last assessment.Discussions for Asian SM in Chinese domestic markets wereheard to be have strengthened mainly due to tight inventorylevels in China."There has not been much change in the market as there wasno news today. The main reason for the price increase should be due to inventory levels, according to a market source. On the supply side, east China port's commercial inventory was estimated at 52,700 mt as of May 22. This is down 2,400 mt compared to last week.
