CFR China styrene monomer and FOB Koreamarkers Sept. 11 at $1,054/mt and $1,039/mt, both down $7/mtfrom the last assessment.Discussions for Asian SM were heard to have declined on theday amid weakened upstream prices.Crude oil futures settled lower Sept. 10, with ICE Brent dippingbelow $70/b for the first time since December 2021, after OPECagain cut its forecasts for global oil demand as well as the call onOPEC+ crude.It then consolidated in mid-afternoon Asian trade Sept. 11 asthe market approached oversold conditions.The front-month November ICE Brent futures fell $1.01/b in theday at $70.49/b at the Asian close Sept. 11.Similarly, the upstream benzene market saw a fall, with thebenzene FOB Korea marker down $13.33/mt onthe day at $921.67/mt.Tracking the fall in upstream prices, styrene monomer futureson the Chinese Dalian Commodity Exchange also declined.Price...
