India Styrene Monomer: CFR India marker drops; extank market largely stable / Kandla Offer Levels Around Rupees 97.50/kg / Southeast Asia market shrinks

In the week leading up to December 6, the CFR India styrene price dropped due to a drop in China's prices during the same time period. The CFR China mark is down $8/mt since the last assessment of $1,032/mt on Dec. 6. This reflects the changes in the Chinese domestic markets. CFR Southeast Asia also fell $4/mt compared to the previous assessment of $1,061/mt. Prices in the Indian domestic market were stable due to unchanged fundamentals of demand and supply, as well as thin trading when compared to last week. Market participants were also busy negotiating contract deals for the next year. Kandla port heard an offer of Rupees 97.50-97.50/kg. A trader stated that the [domestic] market for styrene is strengthening, while contract negotiations are in a range of $25-$30/mt....
