Asian Styrene Monomer: Prices slip tracking rangebound futures / April futures rangebound, slip Yuan 17/mt DOD / Southeast Asia SM Market Stable to Tighter

Styrene Monomer CFR China and FOB Korea Markers at $1,029.50/mt & $1,019.50/mt on February 28, both lower by $2/mt than the previous assessment. This is based on the range-bound movements of the Chinese futures markets. Asian SM prices fell slightly as Chinese futures slipped despite slightly higher crude futures. As of 3 pm Beijing time, the Dalian Commodities Exchange's front-month April contract EB2504 styrene monmer futures contract closed Yuan 17/mt less at Yuan 8,380/mt. At the Asian close on February 28, the front-month April ICE Brent futures increased to $74.44/b. This is an increase of $0.73/b from day to day.
