Asian Styrene monomer: Prices remain unchanged amid stable futures market / Crude Oil Futures Down 35 Cents on the Day / East China inventory drops to 30,300 mt

CFR China styrene Monomer and FOB Korean markers were both unchanged from the previous assessment on Nov. 27, at $1,018.50/mt & $1,003.50/mt. The day's discussions for Asian SM remained stable despite lower upstream costs, as the buying interest improved slightly. The front-month January ICE Brent Futures dropped to $73.03/b at the Asian close on Nov. 27, down 35 cents from the previous day. The upstream benzene FOB Korea mark was also assessed at $882/mt November 27, down $2/mt from the previous day. Price discussions for SM futures at the Dalian Commodity Exchange showed a slight decline.
