The CFR China styrene and FOB Korean markers were $1,169/mt apiece on June 28, up $30/mt each from the previous assessment. Market sources attributed the increase in discussions for Asian SM to tighter supply expectations and a stronger futures market. There were some market discussions about plants closing down.
