The five-to-30-day forward delivery laycan
was $982.25/mt CIF ARB, which is up $14/mt for the day. The market fell $86.75/mt
on the week. This was due to a lack of activity, low cracker runs and low
activity from other aromatics producers. This
was due to a lack of in the construction sector, which would have stoked
polystyrene consumption. The 5- to 30-day
laycan was $1,046.25/mt on a given day, which is down $4/mt and $72.75/mt
for the week. The spread between the
products was $64/mt in May 5 but up $14/mt since April 28.
