The price of Asian butadiene remained
stable at $20/mt per day, but dropped $30-$50/mt per week from week to week
ending June 16, as market sentiment was still under pressure due to rising
supplies. CFR
China butadiene was stable from day to day at $650/mt in June. The lowest price since January 2022 was reached on June 16. The Asian butadiene market remained under pressure during
the week ending June 16 as there were spot supplies available from Southeast
Asia, Europe and North America. Thailand's
PTT released a tender for a spot shipment to be loaded in late July.
Ex-European cargo was also made available to Asia. Sources say that butadiene supply in Northeast Asia is
increasing as steam crackers...
