The US spot export price of acrylonitrile
fell for the second week in a row on June 6, as feedstock prices also decreased. During the period May 31 to June 6, no new
indications of export prices were heard. Exports
were $20 lower week-on-week in the absence of new market activity. This was
partly due to the weekly drop of 3.75 cents/lb ($83/mt) for upstream spot
prices polymer grade propylene. The June spot price for
polymer-graded propylene has been assessed at 31.25 Cents/lb USG, down one cent
