Spot benzene pricing stable at 398 cents/gal DDP USG / Crude Oil Futures Settle Lower

USG Benzene Spot Market prices were relatively stable on May 7 after a price jump the day before when the market climbed about 28 cents. The spot market price was unchanged at 398 cents/gal USG DDP. The US Gulf was quiet, but business was reported to have been concluded further inland at 399 Cents/gal Lower Mississippi River. It is believed that inland trades carry a small premium over USG. Supplier offers are now 403 cents/gal USG DDP, down from 410 cents/gal USG DDP reported on May 6. The forward-month offers for June have increased to 399 cents/gal USG.
