the week ending April 20, the 2-ethyl-hexanol CFR China mark remained unchanged
as buyers continued their holdback. In the week ending April 20, the
tradable price of 2-EH in Shandong was Yuan 9,100/mt and Yuan 9400/mt east
China, up Yuan 50/mt from last week. This is about $1,106-1,143/mt CFR China
based on import parity. A user said the demand for 2-EH is very low at
this time. "We have a negative margin on plasticizer, especially DOP
and DOTP. "We are currently operating our DOP plants at 50%, and DOTP
