Prices of acetic acid were $9/mt lower due to lower buying indicators and tradeable indications at $375-$380/mt. The domestic ex-tank price at Kandla was Rupees 36.25 to 36.50/kg, which is stable from week to week. In recent weeks, the acetic market has remained relatively quiet. The fundamentals of the Indian domestic market were stable. However, supply in China's domestic market was tight, and there was no pressure for exports to India. India's acetic anhydride trade was very low, and fundamentals were largely unchanged from week to week. FOB acetic acid is unchanged from last month's assessment of $805/mt.
