Acetic acid prices fell in India by $4/mt due to lower offers on the 6th of March. The price of March loadingcargos was lower than $378-$380/mt. Buying interest for similar laycans ranged between $360-$370/mt. According to a source it's becoming more evident that the market is adopting a "wait-and-watch" approach due to the subdued acetic demand and rise in inventory. Another source said that there is low downstream demand. Domestic ex-tank prices at the Kandla Port were Rupees 36/kgat, which was stable from week to week. On March 6, there was little activity on the Indian aceticanhydride market and prices were nearly unchanged. The price of domestic ex-factory acetic acid in India was Rupees 65-67/kg.
