India Solvent MX: Prices rising tracking FOB Korea marker; cash differential stable / Discussions on thin import / Domestic prices are rangebound

CFR India's December 6 marker was $781.29/mt, up $10.29/mt from the previous week. The spread to FOB Korea's marker remained at $92/mt. The spread was calculated based on tradable indicators heard from buyers FOB Korea plus $89 to $92/mt. Asian mixed-grade xylenes of solvent grade increased by $10.29/mt on a weekly basis to $689.29/mt for the assessment period Dec. 26 - Jan. 15 taking into account demand for January loading shipments. Market sources reported that trading discussions were light during the week. They added that domestic prices have not changed, and higher inventories at Indian ports keep buyers on the sidelines. Prices were discussed as Rupees 65.50/kg from Kandla and Rupees 67.51/kg from Mumbai. As of November 30, domestic ex-Kandla inventory levels dropped 2,959.61mt, to 24,446.29mt at the Kandla Port....
