Asian Solvent MX prices stable or lower amid weak demand and lower naphtha / FOB Korea offers are now available on the market / Naphtha drops $13/mt in a week

For the period of assessment Nov. 28 - Dec. 18, Asian mixed-grade xylene prices fell by 84 cents/mt, to $680/mt at FOB Korea. CFR Southeast Asia saw a drop of $20/mt down to $780/mt. CFR China remained stable at $700/mt. FOB Korea, on November 8, only offers were heard on the market. This indicates that prices were fairly stable from week to week. The prices of related markets, such as naphtha and mixed isomer xylene, moved in opposite directions during the week. However market sources reported that demand for solvent-MX was low in China and Southeast Asia. On November 8, Naphtha dropped $13/mt on a week-on-week basis at $659/mt CF+F Japan.
