Asian Solvent MX: FOB Korea drops $20.50/mt due to volatile markets / CPC Awards April Sell Tender / Isomer MX and toluene continue their decline

As a result, the Asian mixed-grade xylenes dropped further during the week of March 14. FOB Korea was down $20.50/mt from the previous week to $658.50/mt on March 14, as an offer was made in the market while no bids could be heard. FOB Korea aromatics markets also fell week over week on March 14. Isomer-graded mixed xylenes were down $12/mt to $736/mt, and toluene was down $34/mt to $690/mt. A trader reported that India's toluene demand and solvent-MX supply remained low. The downturn in Asia was also affecting the market.
