The producer indicated that there was not enough spot availability to cater to domestic buyers for cargo sales. The CFR India marker fell by $1/mt to $969/mt. This was a decline of $ 19/mt from the previous week. The spread between the FOB Korea marker and the CFR India marker narrowed by $1/mt, to plus $118/mt. This was due to a weak market sentiment, driven by the slowdown in Korea, and the onset of monsoons in India.
