The CFR India mark at $962.57/mt was down $12.43/mt for the week. The spread between the FOB Korean marker and CFR India's mark narrowed by $3/mt. It was plus $95/mt. A seller made an offer at $95/mt. According to a reliable source, there was no oversupply as the inventory levels ex Kandla ranged between 10,000-12,000mt. The demand had slowed after the monsoon season and was expected remain slow until August. Volatile crude prices affected demand sentiment as well. According to a market source, an Indian cargo containing both toluene MX and solvent-MX was shipped to Dubai. This reduced the inventory pressure within India.
