SM Upstream Prices Fall $13/mt in a Week / Relatively stable to weaker bids heard

Sources say that the Asian polystyrene markets saw offers either stable or weaker in the week ending April 30, amid the expectation of muted activity before the Labor Day holiday in the region. "Offers remain the same as last week." There aren't many price discussions or trading activity because it is the week before holidays. A PS producer confirmed this. Market participants will be absent from some markets such as China, which is celebrating Labor Day over the May 1-5 period. Prices were reported to have dropped in the past week.
