SM India's stockpiles are weaker / SM Futures Up Yuan 62/mt in One Day

Styrene Monomer CFR China and FOB Korean markers were $1,145/mt on May 10, up $7/mt compared to the previous assessments. The Chinese domestic market was heard to be gaining momentum in discussions for Asian SM due to higher crude oil and benzene price. The macroeconomy saw crude oil futures higher at midafternoon Asian trading on May 10, as technical support levels supported prices throughout the last trading day of the previous week. The front-month ICE Brent contract remained steady on the day, at $84.08/b. The mark for upstream benzene FOB Korea was $1042.67/mt. This is up $6/mt from the previous day.
