Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) saw stable pricediscussions in the week as the market remained quiet duringthe period. the ABS CFR China and CFR SoutheastAsia markers at $1,450/mt and $1,470/mt, both stable on theweek May 15.The market was heard to be largely quiet, as upstream SMcontinued to fall in the week, creating an atmosphere of marketuncertainty.Upstream, CFR China styrene monomer andFOB Korea markers at $1,133/mt and $1,123/mt, respectively May15, both down $12/mt from the previous week."Upstream styrene monomer prices have fallen, so manycustomers will wait and see. We also received orders earlier so we're not in a rush to lower prices," a producer said.
