SM futures stable on day / Crude Oil Futures Down $1.45/b in a Day

Styrene monomer CFR China & FOB Korea Markers at 1,196/mt & 1,186/mt respectively, both unchanged from last assessment. The fundamentals of the Asian SM market in China have been mixed, but discussions for Asian SM were stable. Crude oil futures fell in midafternoon Asian trading on May 30, as concerns over the US Personal Consumption Expenditures report dampened a recent rally leading up to the OPEC+ summit. Front month ICE Brent Futures were at $83.42/b - $1.45/b less than the previous session. Meanwhile, benzene was up after an explosion at the Brunei refinery of Chinese refiner Hengyi Industries.
