A 3,500 mt cargo of Malaysian origin, due to load in early June, was the subject of a sell tender. Market sources have said that the tender will close on May 24. As many participants are expected to attend, the Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference, which will be held in Seoul, South Korea from May 30 to 31, could hinder further discussions on spot prices. According to participants, the overall sentiment of the market is bearish due to the lackluster trading in downstream.
