India's PVC market: prices unchanged while it awaits new offers / PVC demand is moderate / Tradeable indicators steady

In the week ending Jan. 29, the Indian polyvinylchloride market was stable, with no new imports and stable demandsupply fundamentals. According to sources, the market is improving with the end of winter in northern India. Most tradable indicators were set at $760/mt. One major trader stated that the adjacent markets are quiet because of the holidays, and there are no new offers in India for standard material. A trader said that the PVC imports to India between Jan. 1-20 had been estimated at 135,000 mt. CFR India PVC was stable for the week, at $760/mt on Jan. 29.
