Reliance Polymer Price Update: PP, PE & PVC Rates in India

Sep 11, 2026

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is India’s largest polymer producer, and its price circulars for polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE – HDPE, LLDPE, LDPE) and PVC act as the benchmark for the domestic market. When Reliance raises, rolls over or cuts its list price, other Indian producers – GAIL, HMEL, OPaL, Haldia Petrochemicals, IOCL and MRPL – and importers usually follow within a day or two. This page explains how the Reliance polymer price update works, what moves it, and where to track the daily numbers.

Reliance polymer prices today
Reliance issues periodic price circulars for each polymer family, quoted in INR per kg on an ex-works or ex-stockpoint basis from depots at Jamnagar, Hazira, Dahej, Vadodara, Nagothane, Silvassa and other locations, with grade-wise differentials and cash or quantity discounts applied on top. Typical product lines covered are PP raffia, PP homopolymer and copolymer, HDPE film, blow-moulding and pipe grades, LLDPE film grade, LDPE, and PVC suspension resin.
As an indicative guide only (not a Reliance circular), recent Indian polymer list prices have run broadly in these bands: PP raffia around INR 95–120/kg, HDPE film/blow around INR 100–125/kg, LLDPE film around INR 100–125/kg and PVC suspension resin around INR 75–100/kg. Actual delivered prices vary with grade, depot, offtake volume, credit terms and any running scheme. What moves the Reliance polymer price update

Crude oil and feedstock: RIL’s polymer costs track naphtha and gas-based ethylene and propylene; a move in crude or in Asian olefin spot prices feeds through to the next circular.
Cracker and downstream operating rates: turnarounds or outages at Jamnagar, Dahej or Nagothane tighten domestic availability and support prices.
Import parity: CFR India offers from the Middle East, South Korea, China and Southeast Asia set the ceiling – if landed imported material is cheaper, Reliance has less room to...
